Minneapolis mayor Frey booed out of rally

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey was heckled by attendees of a rally for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women on Tuesday.

Members of the American Indian community are enraged after the Minneapolis City Council voted to demolish a warehouse located next to Little Earth housing complex.

Opponents of the demolition say it will release arsenic into the air and increase respiratory risks in an area that has long suffered from industrial contamination. Neighborhood residents and activists have been lobbying for years to renovate the space to create more housing and a community hub.
