Live on-air conversation Thursday at 6 p.m. on Power 104.7 (Power1047.fm)

Jamar Clark would be 35 years old if he were alive today.Â
Sadly, he didn’t get a chance to live the past 10 years because he was killed less than 70 seconds after he encountered two Minneapolis police officers on Nov. 15, 2015. That killing, and the subsequent 18-day protest and occupation of Plymouth Avenue outside of the 4th Precinct station, sparked a movement that in many ways continues today.Â
To commemorate the life of Jamar Clark, and to acknowledge the movement it helped birth, Power 104.7 will host a live, on-air, community conversation with some of those who took action to bring about change in Minneapolis and the Twin Cities. The 6 p.m. conversation this Thursday will include past Minneapolis NAACP presidents and attorneys, Nekima Levy-Armstrong and Leslie Redmond and St. Paul School Board member Chauntyll Allen – all who were on the front lines of the protest and movement.
In St. Paul, tune in to this important remembrance at Power 104.7 FM and tune in anywhere online at Power1047.fm by clicking the Listen Live button.Â
